Wissenkerke
Wissenkerke is the main town in the municipality of North Beveland, also known as the "Endless Island". The island of Walcheren, Schouwen Duiveland and South Beveland are all within 20 minutes by car. The town has a supermarket 50 meters from the B&B, outdoor public pool and a few eateries. The nearby villages offer a large variety of bars, cafes and restaurants.
Zeeland
The province of Zeeland is found on the south-west coast of the Netherlands. Zeeland boasts beautiful uncrowded beaches, clean fresh air and the most sun hours of the entire country. From every town or village you are within 15 minutes of open water. Culture seekers can visit one or more of the many historical and picturesque towns such as Middelburg, Veere, Zierikzee, Hulst and Sluis.
Walking and biking
North Beveland and Zeeland offer kilometers of walking and biking routes. Didn't bring your bike? No problem. There are plenty of places to rent nearby. The mountain biker isn't forgotten either. Our island has 3 official mountain bike trails in and around the National Park Oosterschelde.
Culture
Zeeland offers a variety of museums such as the Deltapark Neeltje Jans (Dyke-Delta works), Watersnoodmuseum (commemorating the flood of 1953), Bevrijdingsmuseum (Liberation museum) and many more. Foodies can partake in the yearly Mussel and Oyster Festivals or enjoy theatre and music during the Endless Island festival taking place every June in Wissenkerke.
Watersports
Located between 3 bodies of water, there is an abundance of choices. Wissenkerke is 4km from Veere lake and the North Sea and within a 15 minute walk of the Oosterschelde. Guests can enjoy a variety of watersports such as swimming, stand-up paddling, boating, windsurfing, sport fishing, kayaking and scuba diving at 1 of the 8 dive sites on the island.
Motorcyclists
On the road with the motorcycle? Wissenkerke is located between the islands of Walcheren, Schouwen Duiveland and South Beveland. The B&B has a secure garage for your motorcycle.
Zeeuwse Zot
The Zeeuwse Zot, originally a textile store dating back to 1938, is now a B&B with 5 cozy, comfortable rooms in the quaint Dutch town of Wissenkerke on the “Endless Island” of North Beveland. Guests looking for an active vacation or just preferring to unwind have found the perfect location for a memorable stay in a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere.
On the first floor there are 4 comfortable rooms all with double bed, private bathroom, tv, sitting area and free internet.
The 5th deluxe room on the ground floor offers a double bed, soaker tub, walk-in shower, tv, dvd player, sitting area and free internet. We have created a warm homey atmosphere on the ground floor where breakfast is served and guests can relax in the lounge or garden.

Breakfast is served daily from 08:00 a.m. – 10.00 a.m. Early departure? Not a problem, let us know so we can accommodate you.
Check-in & Check-out
Check-in is between 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm. Arriving later? Let us know, so we can accommodate you. Check-out until 10:30 a.m.

Travelling with a bike or motorcycle? The Zeeuwse Zot has a secure garage to safely store your property.
Parking
Loading and unloading is possible at the front door and 50 meters from the B&B is a free parking facility.
About us
We are Chris and Daniela, both imports to Zeeland. Originally from the Dutch province of Brabant and Vancouver, Canada. Shortly after meeting in 2017 we came to realize that hospitality runs through our veins and we shared the same dream of opening a B&B. Our dream became a reality in July 2021 when we opened the Zeeuwse Zot. We look forward to welcoming you to our seaside home in Wissenkerke.
