Terms, conditions and houserules

1. General

The Family Van Merode-Gomez is the owner of Bed & Breakfast ‘Zeeuwse Zot’. The owner can appoint an manager in his/her absence.
These terms and conditions are applicable to all persons present in Bed & Breakfast ‘Zeeuwse Zot’, Kerkstraat 12, 4491 EP Wissenkerke. Chamber of Commerce number: 82829055, VAT nr: NL862619786B01
These terms and conditions are applicable upon acceptance of booking.
The main tenant must have a permanent residence and be 21 years of age or older at the time of stay.
The main tenant is responsible for his/her guests.
The owner/manager is not responsible for damage and/or injury, loss or theft of property of renters.
Damage or loss of owner/manager property must be reported and reimbursed form the renters.
By non compliance of these terms and conditions the owner/manager can refuse entry or deny access to Bed & Breakfast ‘Zeeuwse Zot’ without restitution.
The administration of the owner/manager is decisive in the event of disagreement, unless the renters can prove otherwise. In the event of any deviation that is not included in these general terms and conditions, the owner/manager decides.
Guests of Bed & Breakfast ‘Zeeuwse Zot’ must adhere to the household regulations below.

2. Reservation and confirmation

There is no extra charge for booking a stay in Bed & Breakfast ‘Zeeuwse Zot’.
The rental agreement can be intered into by telephone, booking online or e-mail.
The main tenant is responsible for consulting these general terms and conditions on the website www.zeeuwsezot.nl or the hard copy obtained through the owner/manager.
Upon receipt of reservation, we will send you a confirmation. This makes your reservation final.

3. Rates and payment

The rates include gas, water, electricity. The rates include VAT and tourist tax.
The rates do not include the costs of cancellation and/or travel insurance. Tenant is responsible for cancellation and travel insurance.
The accomodation costs can be transferred to bank account number NL35 RABO 0368 6714 96 48 hours before arrival or by pin/cash payment on arrival.

4. Cancellation

Cancellation is free of charge up to 1 day prior to the date of arrival. For example, arrival Friday, cancellation is free of charge until Wednesday.
In the unlikely event that you unable to comply with the rental agreement entered into, you must report this to us as soon as possible, so that we can still offer the date released as a result to third parties.
In case of cancellation on the day itself or during the stay, 100% of the amount is due unless otherwise agreed with the owner/manager.

5. Payments

You can transfer the amount due to bank account NL35 RABO 0368 6714 96 under the name Zeeuwse Zot.

7. Breakfast

Weather permitting guests may enjoy breakfast from 3:00 p.m.
Breakfast is served between 8:00 – 10:00 a.m. Early is possible but please let us know in advance.

8. Your stay

Zeeuwse Zot is in a residential area. In consideration of our neighbours please avoid noise between 10:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.
Radios, televisions and other sources of noise must not cause an inconvenience to others.
Use by third parties of the accomodation is not permitted.
Visitors are not allowed to stay in Bed & Breakfast ‘Zeeuwse Zot’ without the permission of the owner/manager and without an additional payment.
Books are available on the honour system and are not to be removed from the B&B.
The accomodation must be kept left clean and tidy.
The first aid kit is located at the reception.
Pets are not allowed in the B&B.
Smoking and open flame are not permitted in the B&B. If these conditions are not followed, any costs resulting from the fire alarm will be charged to the party responsible.
Upon departure, all keys must be returned to the owner/manager.
